Eating Right
With
the start of the New Year many people are looking for ways to lose weight and
to get back into shape. With that said,
many people try a number of diets ranging from low fat diets to the high
protein diets. However, how many of them
actually stick to their diets and how many of them actually reach their health
goals?
In
order to be healthy, one has to eat healthy which means they must to commit to
healthy eating habits. It should be a
habit to eat healthy. This explains why
most diets don’t work. Their dieting
didn’t lead to a healthy habit.
Another
challenge is the fact that most people don’t know how to eat right. Here are a few tips to eating right:
• Eat lots of
greens.
• Read food labels. If you can’t pronounce the ingredients or know what the ingredients are, don’t eat it.
• If it wasn’t
around hundreds and thousands of years ago don’t eat it.

• Eat organic
fruits and vegetables.
• Eat meats that
were grass fed or free range.
• Eat every 3-4
hours each day.
• Avoid refined
carbohydrates and processed meats.
• Eat healthy fats
(Monounsaturated fats and Polyunsaturated fats) and avoid trans fats.
• Watch your
sodium intake.
• Plan your meals
ahead of time.
Eating
right will give the body the right nutrients to feed the body which will
provide a number of health benefit including maintaining proper nervous system
function, which is the master control system throughout the body.
