This place has literally changed my life. After 2 years of Nursing school, constant studying/reading/tests.. I had horrible pain in my neck. I've always been prone to migraines, adding this neck pain on top of it made it much worse. The pain was constant, and made it difficult to sleep and get through the day. I finally reached a breaking point, and went into Advanced Health desperate for help.
As of today, I have been doing so much better. The attention to detail and care provided is more than I have received at any other chiropractor. I feel like most chiropractors have a 'routine' adjustment that they do on everyone that walks in. However, at this location, they take their time assessing your needs before they just start cracking your neck and pack. My neck pain has decreased significantly, along with the migraines. As long as I'm in Livermore I will continue to go here. Super thankful for everything have done.

There are a variety of chiropractors in every town. I've seen a couple in the past wasn't impressed with results. Advanced Health Chiropractic is a whole different approach to chiropractic care and I'm excited! Advanced Health Chiropractic has cultivated a winning formula for overall health and wellness. Dr. Murray, Dr. Van Aken and Dr. Jaegel are positive, caring healers. I was in agonizing pain when I became a client a few weeks ago. I'm feeling much better and believe I'm finally on the right path to wellness. The doctors at AHC didn't sugar coat and promise immediate results. They are showing me how to heal and helping me with physical adjustments that are working. I'm standing taller, open and proud again. I'm not folding in on myself as pain whittles away and my body and being. Stress pressure headaches are becoming less frequent and less intense.

The staff at Advanced Health Chiropractic is super friendly and they genuinely care about your health. My husband and I were with the same chiropractor for over 20 years and switched to Advanced Health Chiropractic about a year ago. Dr. Van Aken has taken the best care of me, my husband and our teen daughter. He always makes us feel as if we are his only patients and never rushes through our appointments. He listens to our concerns and we always walk out feeling way better than when we arrived. We not only appreciate the care he has given us, but more importantly, our daughter. She used to suffer from headaches and neck aches frequently. She was diagnosed with scoliosis and since being treated by Dr. Van Aken, she has made huge improvements in a short time. Dr. V and his staff are amazing. I have been going to them for about 4 months and have experienced progressive relief. I work at a desk job, and now desk/couch. I was extremely embarrassed that my neck started to come forward because of it. I always was in so much pain. They fixed it, and I have never felt better. My monthly migraines (I didn't even know my back was causing it) and back pain if I walked around all day also disappeared. They are very friendly and really listen to your goals, amazing staff!! It's the little things like every single staff member knowing your name when you walk in. Also the high end office is a nice relaxing space, doesn't feel like a doctor's office. Go here if you work at a desk, its a MUST. I've been going for 2 years. I can't recommend them enough.

I truly can't say enough about this chiropractor. I have been coming here since 2005 and can't live without my treatments. My whole family come here and agree with me. I went 3 months without an adjustment and had headaches (the kind that bring you to tears), tingling in my fingers, knee pain, the list goes on and on. At that point I knew this really works and I need to maintain my spin. No more headaches, No more advil/motrin. The dr helped me to find other alternatives to deal with daily aches and pains. There are also other educational classes once a month about health, nutrition, and traction classes. I know my dr cares about my overall health!

I am in severe migraine most of the days. I have been to many doctors and no one could tell exactly why. There was a community meeting in Dublin and one old friend recommended me to visit him. Before the first visit, I was thinking that chiropractic is for back pain only. I had a few treatments and it helped a lot. At first, there was a longer session since I was not ready for the adjustments and the doctor needed to explain everything to me, he showed me how the spine misalignment can cause of the migraine. Since then he has treated me regularly. And it really helps! Afterwards, you feel free and deeply relaxed.

I've been a patient here for a little over a month now. I have lived with lower back spasms that plagued me for over 3 years: a result of 15 seasons worth of bad snowboarding crashes, pregnancy, and lifting the child that resulted from that pregnancy. Finally, I couldn't deal with it anymore and made the time to fix it. I had seen a great chiropractor in Lake Tahoe before I moved to the bay, only when pain was so bad I couldn't function. I thought that chiropractic care was an "as needed" service. I was wrong to think that! Coming to this office, I was re-educated. It's more like massage or yoga: it takes a while to see lasting results. They really took the time during my exam to explain what was happening in my body, why waiting so long to fix it cost me years of suffering, treated me compassionately, and explained EXACTLY why chiropractic care helps. While I sought care for my back originally, they discovered initially that my neck was all out of whack. Oh yeah, I said. I forgot to mention that I have headaches, due to this knot at the base of my neck all the time. I thought it was normal and stress related. NOPE. Not normal! After 3 adjustments, I never felt the knot again. After 12 adjustments, I feel way less spasms in my back and am finally able to sleep at night, but I now know that it will take a full year of care to fix that. A year of care seems like a massive commitment, but I just think of all the appointment times and pain that went into having braces on my teeth, and this seems easy by comparison. Luckily, Advanced Health Chiropractic team worked with me on finances to make it affordable and I LOVE that they get me in and out when I'm in a hurry and are really cool when I need to change my appointments. Also, the women who run that office are so friendly and informed. Stoked to be a patient here. I'll update my review when I finish my care plan and feel like a 20 year old again!
