I found Advanced Health Chiropractic, by chance, tooling around the internet in search of low back pain relief. Recently, I discovered that I fall into the category of kinesthetic learners, meaning, I learn best hands-on by doing. Therefore, this has made it extremely difficult to have faith in our modern healthcare system, primarily because in my opinion, general physicians prescribe drugs or medications to battle symptoms and when new symptoms manifest as a result of said medications, then additional medications are prescribed to counteract those new symptoms from prolonged drug use. Effectively disabling a persons own ability to heal, repair, and find wellness. Prior to my first adjustment with Advanced Health Chiropractic, I was nearly convinced that surgery was imminent and unavoidable, and I couldn't be more pleased to have been completely wrong about that. AHC not only helped me procure relief, but more powerfully, helped me regain faith and trust that my own body can heal any ailment. AHC is dedicated to complete human optimization, not just pain relief or bandaging symptoms. In other words, I believe they want their clients to reach places of wellness and fitness far beyond what the client(s) could imagine was possible. I could not possibly recommend AHC any more, even if I were completely healthy, fit, strong, and agile, I would still go regularly for adjustments, simply to know without a shadow of a doubt, to verify and confirm that my spine (and more importantly nervous system) was as close to tip top as physically possible. Not sure where to even begin....

First let me say this is without a doubt the finest Chiropractic office I've ever sought help for lower back pain. The all encompassing thorough approach is so unique and reassuring in this time of "get them in, get them out or referred to someone else" medical treatment. This is a team of personable, knowledgeable people who genuinely like what they do, each other and every patient that enters the office. And a thankful shout out to Dr Van Aken.

Getting this old back into a healthy state will take a wee bit of time but my head and heart know I'm in exactly the right place with exactly the right folks.

I have only been going to Advanced Health Chiropractic for a few weeks and I am feeling so much better. The doctors are professional and knowledgeable. They took their time to figure out exactly what I need to stop the progression of my degenerative disc disease through the chiropractic manipulation and they have been teaching me new ways of continuing my healing through exercise, stretches and traction. The staff at Advanced Health Chiropractic is super friendly and they genuinely care about your health. My husband and I were with the same chiropractor for over 20 years and switched to Advanced Health Chiropractic about a year ago. Dr. Van Aken has taken the best care of me, my husband and our teen daughter. He always makes us feel as if we are his only patients and never rushes through our appointments. He listens to our concerns and we always walk out feeling way better than when we arrived. We not only appreciate the care he has given us, but more importantly, our daughter. She used to suffer from headaches and neck aches frequently. She was diagnosed with scoliosis and since being treated by Dr. Van Aken, she has made huge improvements in a short time. Her scoliosis is no longer considered a concern. We highly recommend Advanced Health Chiropractic!

I can't say enough great things about the staff and care at Advanced Health Chiropractic. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was not sure what to expect, experiencing some significant back/neck pain. I spoke to Amber on the phone who was super friendly and helpful. Christine checked me in and were so amazing, super friendly, very knowledgeable, and really took their time explaining things and making sure I understood everything. Unfortunately I have some pretty awful results from the xrays they took, but Advanced Health Chiropractic team was confident in helping me and created a 12-week care plan to get started and help relieve some pain and correct the issues. I am in law enforcement, which is a huge part of my back issues, and they were so supportive of law enforcement and really took care of me. I recommend everyone, especially my fellow cop friends, to reach out to them!
